Outdoor Smoking Policy:
In order to protect the health and safety of our visitors, staff and volunteers and in effort to support the healthy choices of our sport participants the E.L.M.M. Community Center’s Athletic Fields, also known as the Gil Conant Athletic Field, is a non-smoking area. With regard to fire and sanitation please use the appropriate receptacles to dispose of your cigarettes. Underage tobacco use is strictly prohibited. Violators will be reported.

The Gil Conant Athletic Fields is identified as the area from the parking lot to the corn field and from our Parker Street neighbors property border to the boundary line that separates the ELMMCC and the VFW. The designated smoking area is by the dumpster between the 2 buildings. Please dispose of your cigarettes butts appropriately. Littering is a misdemeanor and is a punishable offense in the state of N.H.
The E.L.M.M. Community Center offers a variety of athletic opportunities for children of all ages throughout all the seasons.

Focusing on the baseball fundamentals of field positions, batting, catching, base running, but, mostly FUN! Volunteer coaches and assistants work closely with each player and parent to stress the importance of good sportsmanship and team spirit.
The ELMMCC is a member of the Tri County Baseball League, run from the Vernon Recreation Department, with other local towns in bordering Massachusetts and Vermont. Each season runs throughout spring and into summer. Youth are divided into the following groups:
Farm League / 1st and 2nd grade
PeeWee / 3rd and 4th grade
Youth / 5th and 6th grade

The ELMMCC Fall intramural program is designed for youth in grades Kindergarten to 6th grade. Youth are divided into 2 levels according to grade; Kindergarten-2nd grade and 3rd-6th grade. All youth registered for Kindergarten (or are home schooled but Kindergarten aged) are welcomed to register as early as June. Volunteer coaches and assistants work closely with each player and parent to stress the importance of good sportsmanship and team spirit.

Basketball skills will be held in the Winchester School Gymnasium
NO BASKETBALL SKILLS ON JANUARY 23RD
Led by E.L.M.M.C.C. coaches, Ed Lake, Paul Martell and Frank Linnenbringer, the youth basketball skills program will focus on learning the fundamentals of basketball and enhancing each player’s individual basketball skill. Divided into age appropriate groups registrants will perform weekly drills and scrimmages. Drills will include dribbling, passing, shooting and strategy.
• All players must have basketball sneakers to change into. No street shoes are allowed on the basketball court.
• No gum, food drinks are permitted in the WES gymnasium. Please send your players with a water bottle.
• Parents can drop players off at the Winchester School at 9:30. Parents are encouraged to stay.
Fees:
$10.00 per resident youth/$15.00 per non-resident youth. This activity is sponsored by the E.L.M.M. Community Center and hosted by the Winchester School.
